ABOUT GUIDO CONSTRUCTION

Guido Construction’s experience includes thousands of projects in the following categories: Restorations, Institutional, Industrial, Office Buildings, Manufacturing Facilities, Sports Venues, Medical Offices, Laboratories, Religious Projects, Museums, Public Buildings, Theme Parks, Restaurants, Private Clubs, and Exclusive Private Residences. The Guido family began building in Texas in 1927 when Louis Guido Sr. and Vincent Fablo constructed the historic St. Francis di Paola Church and Parish Hall in downtown San Antonio. Trained in Italy as a master carpenter, Louis’ reputation grew with projects including the San Pedro Playhouse and restoration to Mission San José.

In 1936, Louis and Frank Guido formed Guido Brothers Construction Company. Their work encompassed restorations, remodeling, and building of numerous public buildings, court houses, schools and churches. The lessons of Integrity, Authenticity, Commitment, Ingenuity, and Community were not lost on sons Cosmo, and Louis Jr. Today, under the leadership of Maryanne and Tom Guido, Guido Construction has built a dynamic team of experienced professionals, serving numerous clients, while incorporating current technology to produce landmark projects that will last far into the future.
